Welcome to Sakura Health and Fitness
Established in 2014, Sakura health & fitness offer classes and programmes that can be used to improve general fitness and physical condition via a series of fun and challenging exercises. We specialise in children’s health and fitness programmes across 5 specific age ranges; pre-school, ages 5-7, 8-11, 12-14, 14-18. All our activities are suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced participants that work the upper body, lower body, core and cardio vascular system.
Children don't need a formal weight-training program to be strong. Push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and other body weight exercises help tone & strengthen muscles.
Endurance is developed when kids regularly engage in aerobic activity. When done regularly and for extended periods of time, aerobic activity strengthens the heart and improves the body's ability to deliver oxygen to all its cells.
Stretching exercises help improve flexibility, allowing muscles and joints to bend and move easily through their full range of motion.
A general state of health and well-being or specifically the ability to perform aspects of sports or occupations. Physical fitness is generally achieved through correct nutrition, exercise, hygiene and rest.
Introducing children to strength, conditioning and endurance training can be a fun way to get children involved in physical fitness and put them on the path to a lifelong enjoyment of exercise. Participation in sports and fitness classes also provides many additional cognitive and psychological benefits that will continue to benefit an individual throughout their life.
